Since early childhood growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Callista has been getting an education in the planning, design and build industries – as many a Sunday were spent with her Architect-father reviewing progress at his many job-sites. “Dad walked thru the sites whistling to accompany his thoughts - making mental notes for the Job Captain, camera in-hand noting progress and documentation for later design meetings.”

Several generations up both sides of the family tree have made their living in the Building and Real Estate sectors across the U.S. That early imprinting “took”. Currently, four of the nine siblings, and three in-laws all work successfully in the design/build, property management, residential and commercial real estate industry across the country… and twice as many have investment properties.

“The breadth of experience in our family over several generations is like being part of an extensive consulting firm – it’s a definite advantage.” Like father – like daughter; Callista still travels with camera in-hand keeping current with local properties and the market also because she truly enjoys the visual art of “built spaces”.

An avid gardener and designer, Callista has strong nesting instincts for the beauty, health and comfort of “home” grounded by favoring our green, and blue, natural world. Of special interest to Callista is how a property blends the built-scape with their on-site greening practices. In property evaluations she's often envisioning green-scaping and daylighting opportunities. She states that greenscapes are the “lungs” of a property which contribute directly to the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the occupants. Enhanced well-being equates to valuable real estate.

Reflecting seamless integrity and Eco-healthy themes in her personal and professional life, Callista has a broad professional background in Outdoor Plant Nursery sales; International Sales and Marketing of nutritional products for the Health Food Industry; Art-assistant, production, design, photography and home-staging; Garden design; and a successful hands-on healing practice as a Certified Massage Therapist and Reiki Master Teacher.
